Greg and Elaine Fedchak are active members of the Boonville, New York community. Elaine Fedchak has spent nearly four decades as the organist for the nearby Forestport Presbyterian Church. Greg has published five novels, including The Magical Fruit, Bad Apple Jack, and Love Among the Tomatoes, as well as numerous short stories. His publishing company, Night Tree Press, has received honors from the Small Press Association, while his newspaper column was named Best Column in a Weekly Newspaper by the New York Press Association. He has also exhibited several award-winning paintings.

Greg Fedchak was a Presidential Scholar at St. Lawrence University in Canton, New York. Before graduating with his degree in government, he joined the Phi Beta Kappa liberal arts and sciences honor society. He went on to spend three years as a linguist with the National Security Agency. Elaine, also a Phi Beta Kappa member, graduated summa cum laude with degrees in mathematics and art history. She served the National Security Agency as a cryptanalyst, followed by several decades as a programming and data analyst. She joined Syracuse’s SRC, Inc., as an information assurance analyst in 2017.
